Gifts of the Holy Spirit Collage
Wisdom: The picture of the Bible represents wisdom because the Bible tells us about the mysteries of the faith and help us to grow in our relationship with God. The Bible gives us wisdom about God and allows us to grow in our love for God and desire to go to Heaven.
Understanding: The Eucharist is a prime example of God helping us to understand the mystery of the faith. By giving the last supper before he died, God offered us his body so that we may physically experience his presence in our lives. The Eucharist gives us a physical form of Jesus that can help us to visual Christ's presence in our lives.
Counsel: Adam and Eve represent counsel because they represent the consequences of sin. Adam and Eve are a mark of original sin and serve as a reminder of sin and how it separates us from God and weakens our relationship with him.
Fortitude: Prayer gives us the strength to do the will of God. The Holy Spirit inspires us to pray and gives us strength to make the right decisions. Prayer gives us the strength to to do the will of God and to live out our lives as children of God.
Knowledge: The picture of God standing over the universe demonstrates that God is present in all things. God created the entire universe and helps us to see that nothing would exist without God. The world is in God's hands and everything on earth is God's gifts to the world.
Piety: The image of God preaching to the children demonstrates God acting as our father. God created us and acts as the guiding hand that helps us through life and loves us regardless of our mistakes.
Fear of the Lord: When Jesus was crucified, God was present through the thunder that echoed over the hills of Jerusalem. Thunder and lightning demonstrate God's power and strength over all the world. God is the most powerful thing in existence and we should have a sense of fear in our relationship with God, helping us follow his laws and be mindful of sin.
